How to stitch images for a visual explanation

Give each panel a specific job so the combined image is useful without a long introduction.

01

Select the evidence

Choose 2–9 JPG, PNG or WebP pictures, up to 25 MB each. A wide view can establish the subject while close-ups show the details that support your explanation.

02

Set a visual hierarchy

Choose Featured photo when the overview needs the most space, or Photo grid when the parts deserve equal attention. Arrange photos swaps the panel order; Adjust crop changes what is visible within a panel.

03

Save one clear board

Pick the overall ratio, panel gap and background. Export PNG or JPG at a 1200, 2048 or 4096 px long edge, then inspect whether the smallest detail is still legible.

Explain more with fewer separate files

A deliberate layout helps your viewer connect the pictures without searching through a folder.

Object and detail

Place an overall product or object view beside the detail you want to discuss. Keep enough context in the detail crop for a viewer to understand where it belongs.

Process checkpoints

Combine photos from a few stages of a process in reading order. Use the same orientation where possible, and leave instructions or exact measurements to your accompanying explanation.

Location and purpose

Show a space together with a close-up of how an item is used there. This makes a useful reference board for planning an educational visual or a product story.

Design for understanding, not just fit

Remove repetitive views and give detailed panels enough room. After changing the ratio, inspect objects near the edges and compare the layout at ordinary screen size rather than only in a zoomed preview.

The tool combines supplied pictures in panels. It does not add labels, check facts, align a seamless panorama or generate missing parts with AI. Add final captions in your usual editor and verify the information yourself.

Building a board with CanvasSeed

Can I give the overview more space than the details?

Yes. Choose Featured photo and put the overview in the featured position. Use Arrange photos to swap it with another image, then adjust the supporting crops.

Is this an online image stitcher I can use without an account?

Yes. The browser stitcher and PNG or JPG downloads are free. You do not need to register, spend credits or accept a watermark on the board.

Can the tool write captions for my explanation?

No. It lays out and crops existing pictures. Add exact labels or captions after downloading if your explanation needs them.

What are the input and output limits?

Add 2–9 JPG, PNG or WebP images with a 25 MB limit for each source file. Download PNG or JPG at a 1200, 2048 or 4096 px long edge. Large decoded files can still exceed your browser's memory.

Does a larger board make a small detail sharper?

A larger export contains more output pixels, but it cannot restore detail absent from the original. Use a sharper source or a less aggressive crop when a detail looks soft.

Do my pictures leave the device?

Stitching and downloading are local browser operations. The completed-image video button saves only the final composition here for up to 24 hours. Continuing to the video page and signing in uploads that finished reference, rather than transferring the separate source pictures.

Can I turn the explanation board into a video?

You can carry the finished image to an available image-to-video workspace after downloading. Keep the file at 10 MB or below, using JPG or a smaller output if needed. Review the model and credit cost. The board is one reference image; independent animation or accurate process explanation is not guaranteed.

Explore a visual explanation in motion

Once the board reads clearly, you can use the completed-image button to bring it into CanvasSeed's video workspace. Describe a focused scene and review the supported settings and credit quote before generating.
